Exhale is a concept album that tells a story of going through an emotional, spiritual & mental storm. It starts with a dreary overcast, then an ominous storm rolls in with a bitter cold front and an obvious warning. It gets heavy, it gets dark, confusion and deception introduce themselves to you, sometimes in the name of something or someone you thought you could trust. The aftermath is a splintered soul and mind. Debris and devastation from everything that has been fractured in your life can easily overwhelm but the light leaking through is the truth that wind and waves obey Jesus. In the midst of the strongest storms He is the source of peace. He tells us to be still. He promises He will never leave. This is the freedom that allows us to inhale a deep breath and trust. Just as the sun cuts through those dark clouds after a storm, the Light of Christ shines in the darkness and darkness has not overcome it. He breathes his breath into us as our spirits are being renewed day by day.
